SHOBERL, Frederic. (Ed)
World in Miniature - Asiatic islands, and New Holland...

First edition, part of Frederic Shoberl's (1775-1853) 43-volume series of The World in Miniature, which aimed to "increase the store of knowledge concerning the various branches of the great family of Man" (preface, cited in Abbey). This set includes six studies of Australian Aborigines, some of which are recognizable as coming from either Baudin or Freycinet voyage publications.
