BÉLANGER, Charles.
Voyages aux Indes-Orientales, par Le Nord de L'Europe, Les Provinces du Caucase, La Georgie, L'Armenie et La Perse... Pendant les Annees 1825 [ - ] 1829.
Charles Paulus Bélanger (1805-1881) was a French naturalist and explorer. In 1825 he was appointed director of the Pondichéry botanical gardens. Accompanying the new Governor of the French establishments in India who had left to join his post, Charles Bélanger took advantage of this long trip to collect plant samples and enrich his herbaria.
