A lovely book devoted to villages, priories, castles, ruins, and other fascinating buildings of local importance in Northumberland and Durham. The engravings are after T.M. Richardson, senior, and were published in Newcastle. A folio of hand-coloured engravings produced under the Patronage of Her Grace the Duchess of Northumberland.
