Oblong folio; original purple pebble-grain cloth, 'Venezia' embossed direct to upper board; lithographed title; marbled endpapers. Twelve hand-coloured lithographed plates; EXTRA ILLUSTRATED WITH 2 hand-coloured portraits. The plates in this volume show attractive views of famous Venetian landmarks, starting with St. Mark’s Square. Book plates of 'Georges Delaporte' & 'Giannalisa Feltrinelli' to front paste down.
