[A Month in the Pyrenees. Album of Sites, Customs, and Costumes of the Hautes and Basses-Pyrenees. Painted from Nature…] Oblong folio; original blue wrapper served as title; 12 hand-coloured lithographed plates; contemporary green pebble-grained cloth; title embossed in gilt to upper board; stamped in blind; boards rubbed. These plates show various scenes of country living: the arrival of sardine vendors at Bayonne; farmers on their way to market at Oleron; the hot baths at the old marketplace of Pau (two plates); vulture shooting etc. Coloured plates in order: 1.
