Minor age-toning to plates mostly in the margins. Ex-library 'Charles G. King' on front pastedown. There is no external marking; embossed (blind) stamp on the title bookplate; plates are unmarked. Distinctive red binding; spine and boards most elaborately decorated in gilt motifs and blind; all edges gilt; some wear to spine, extremities, and corners. Some plates have foxing.
