COMBE, William.
The Tour of Doctor Prosody, in Search of the Antique and Picturesque Through Scotland, The Hebrides, The Orkney and Shetland Isles, illustrated by Twenty Humorous Plates

This book is a satire on Samuel Johnson"s Tour of the Hebrides. Very likely to be a 'knock off' of the hugely popular Dr. Syntax trilogy, with additional inspiration presumably coming from Boswell's account of his tour of Scotland in the company of Samuel Johnson.
