The Last Days of Lord Byron.
In the weeks before Byron’s death William Parry (1773–1859) became the poet’s confidante and partisan. His memoir is a particularly valuable record of Byron’s intentions and actions at Missolonghi.

3 plates plus frontispiece. Half calf over marbled boards, marbled edges, spine with raised bands and in six compartments, black leather label and gilt letters to the second compartment. Spine rubbed and worn, with fresh cloth hinges and reinforced corners, but in good condition. Rebinding and restoration work on this book was carried out by Ron Norman of Hartlepool (Ronnorn@aol.com) Coloured plates in order: 1. Lord Byron's House, Missolonghi. 2. Lord Byron attended by his Suliote guards. 3. Lord Byron on his Death Bed.
