Three albums in total, each complete within their own custom made three-sided matching maroon covers. Each album has gilt lettering and a company emblem to the upper cover, and to the spine. All mainland US states are covered, plus the US Virgin Islands, The Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, Washington D.C. and Hawaii. Each state begins with a page or two of 'facts and figures' (capital city, state parks, population, land area, chief crops, industries, manufacturing, minerals, international airport(s), state flower, state bird, motto etc. There is a general map of the USA, and each state is blacked out in order to show where it is situated within the country. Major towns and cities are shown within a smaller inset map. The state flag, the state flower, and the state bird are shown - mostly in facsimile. This is followed by with a 'brief history' of the state covering a page or two. Then 'landmarks' in history applicable to each state, then 'prominent sons and daughters' of each state, and occasionally statesmen from the state. At the rear of each album are two state quarter coins. Contents in order: Volume 1. Northern Mariana Islands Micronesia & Oceania US Virgin Islands American Samoa Guam, Puerto Rico The District of Columbia Arizona Alaska Hawaii Alabama Idaho Oklahoma New Mexico South Dakota Wyoming Washington State Montana Wisconsin Maine Volume 2. North Dakota Utah Minnesota Mississippi Colorado Oregon Iowa Nevada Arkansas Michigan Missouri Indiana Florida Nebraska North Carolina Ohio Kansas Illinois Volume 3.
