Folio, original dark blue cloth, patterned endpapers, original dark blue cloth slipcase. Facsimile of a lovely illuminated Hebrew manuscript Haggadah of the mid-15th-century, from the collections of the British Library, written and illuminated by Joel Ben Simeon Feibusch Ashkenazi, with a commentary attributed to Eleazar Ben Judah of Worms. This splendid facsimile reproduces the beautiful original colour illuminations, miniatures, borders, and initial words; the scrupulous facsimile process even reproduces the light staining that affects the original manuscript.
