WILKINSON, Henry.
Sketches of Scenery in the Basque Provinces of Spain, with a selection of national music

Wilkinson was part of the expeditionary force that landed in the Basque Country in the summer of 1835 to support Isabel II against the Carlists. Wilkinson was a doctor accompanying the military expedition. A very good copy of this work that shows the interest of English travelers in the Basque Country in the context of the first Carlist war.
