Folio., 19 tinted lithographed views on 18 plates with additional hand-colouring, tissue guards, 4 plates with slight fraying to lower edge with minor repairs to lower fore-corner, 2 with dust soiling and fraying to fore-edge, a few minor marginal closed tears, but overall a good copy, modern bookplate on front pastedown, original morocco-backed cloth, lettered in gilt to upper board and spine, rebacked in later morocco, worn at corners, RARE. The plates are as follows: 1. Entrance to the tomb of Ramses II. (Bruces) at Thebes, (title vignette). 2. Near Aboo Girgeh, looking north. 3. Convent of the Virgin of Dayr-El-Adra, looking north. 4.
