4to; original cloth-backed boards, upper board with an original mounted watercolour by Harding incorporating MS title; preserved in a green cloth covered box with title label in gilt to spine. Marbled endpapers. 6 hand-coloured etched plates, signed by the artist. Plates are not titled. Original covers rubbed and worn. Coloured plates in order: 1. Watercolour to upper board. 2. Shepherd and Shepherdess. 3. Boy and his dog rest by a stream. 4. Mother and small child collect wood for a fire. 5. Elderly woman and a small child with a flock of sheep. 6. Mother and her two small children and a donkey. 7. Woman, a baby in her arms, and another young child rest under a tree.
