Folio; 22 pages (misnumbered), ten coloured lithographic plates drawn by the author, and two plans. Original black cloth boards, tooled in blind with gilt title on the front cover. Prelims toned and foxed, elsewhere only occasional light foxing. Good copy. Bookplate on front pastedown 'P.J.A. Morange ex Libris'. This work describes the Maison Imperiale de Saint Louis and the Military Imperial School of the little town Saint Cyr, close to Versailles. The full-page plates illustrate not only views, places, and plants but also military costumes with the delightful backdrop of the School’s parkland. Plates in order: 1. Title page. 2.
