Oblong quarto original red cloth gilt re-backed with the original spine laid down. Mid-19th-century album of the adornments of Pompeii a collection of 24 beautiful and brilliantly hand-coloured mounted lithographs. A few minor rubs to the original cloth. Plates fine hand-colouring vivid. A truly beautiful work. Each plate is untitled and has an unobtrusive blind library stamp.
