Oblong folio, modern 3/4 red morocco, with matching title label to upper board, raised bands in blind and lettered in gilt to spine, an engraved title, 14 hand-coloured aquatint plates, and two uncoloured, after Stadler. "A pictorial record commemorating the seizure of the tiny islet known as Diamond Rock, for the purpose of close blockade of the French island of Martinique. The islet was armed with five heavy guns and commissioned as a sloop of war "(Abbey). Coloured plates in order: [Uncoloured] Title page. [Uncoloured] Portraits of the Officers of H.M.S. Centaur &c.
