Oblong folio, 2 hand-coloured plates by F. Jukes in original blue-gray paper wrappers, is preserved in a modern navy blue cloth-covered folder and slipcase. Morocco label to spine. A scarce work. Not in the usual bibliographies, and no apparent auction records. Coloured plates in order: 1. West View of Nidpath Castle. [In the County of Tweedale, about 22 miles South of Edinburgh] 2. North View of Roslin Castle. [In the County of Mid-Lothian, about 6 miles South of Edinburgh]
