Boards rubbed and worn, marbled endpapers. Large, beautifully presented, profusely illustrated, and well-preserved late 19th-century three-volume set featuring countless wood-engraved illustrations and 63 full-page steel-engraved plates. (c 300 engravings in total) Highlights both the architectural and the natural, spectacular scenery of Europe. Plates are uncoloured, therefore not listed.
