A SCARCE study of color-plate books for children with a bibliography of books (pp. 27-47) in an exhibition dedicated to the subject. Edition limited to 255 numbered copies, of which this work is # 5. Printed on fine laid paper. Hand-colored frontispiece. At the end, there is a bibliography of the Sette of Odd Volumes. 12mo. Original paper boards. The spine is chipped but structurally sound. Some internal foxing but not on the coloured frontispiece edges uncut; book block is re-sewn, rebound in a new cloth case, a new label to spine. *Rebinding and restoration work on this book was carried out by Ron Norman of Hartlepool.
