A scarce work by Maaskamp, who was famous for his costume drawings. Not found in the usual bibliographies or auction records. Evert Maaskamp was a Dutch publisher and book and print merchant in Amsterdam from about 1800 to 1834.

[Sites and Objects of Approval in North Holland.] Oblong quarto (10 ½ x 17 inches), full burgundy cross-grain morocco, decorative border gilt to boards, rebacked with the original spine laid down, printed cover label mounted and bound in, marbled endpapers, elaborate gilt inner dentelles, all edges gilt. 12 hand-colored aquatint plates.
