A collection of postal stamps from the isolated, but very interesting Democratic People's Republic of Korea. It constitutes the northern half of the Korean Peninsula and borders China and Russia to the north at the Yalu and Tumen rivers, and South Korea to the south at the Korean Demilitarized Zone. This is a four album set of stamps, housed in their own special red and gold embossed albums. Produced by the Kenmore Stamp Company in America. Each album has two pages of introductory text about North Korea, complete with a rough map of the country and surrounds. On the reverse of each page of carefully laid out stamps is a black & white reproduced photograph of events, politicians, places, prominent buildings, scenery, commemorative statues etc. Stamps include the following: The People's Revolution Korean Art Space Exploration World Events World Sporting Events & Sports Stars International Organizations Famous Painters International Stamp Exhibitions Native Flora & Fauna British Royalty European Royalty The Presidential Dynasty Reunification Aviation Anniversaries and Birthdays Shipping Korean Youth Construction Historic Revolutionary Sites & Activities Transport Culture & Costumes Scenery & Landscapes
