[Livre d'Heures]
A beautiful copy, bound by Henri Blanchetiere (1881-1933), was a follower of Marius-Michel, at first using Art Nouveau floral designs but later developing a more modern geometric style.. This example includes 'Ceremonies du Mariage and Messe de Mariage'.

8vo. (18.5 x 13 cm) Illuminated manuscript on vellum, in French - 57 leaves. Finely bound in contemporary citron morocco by Henri Blanchetiere. Sides richly gilt-decorated with a daisy motif, spine with raised bands and richly gilt-decorated compartments, title gilt to second compartment, brown morocco doublures. Decorative gilt watered silk endpapers with additional marbled endpapers, a.e.g. Three separate full page illustrations, each signed by the artist (Illegible), each leaf fully illuminated with decorative borders.
