Les trois Parques / The Three Fates.
A RARE and unrecorded suite of beautifully hand-coloured engravings of high quality. The captions appear in both French and English, with the former in Roman and the latter in italic letters. To judge from the contents of the suite, it was issued for the instruction of young persons.

A delightful suite of 16 hand-coloured engravings, bound accordion-style. Oblong 8vo. (115 x 157 mm) bound in contemporary green glazed boards, the upper board bearing a hand-coloured engraving of the 'Three Fates.' Minor wear to board extremities, some plates loose. Twelve engravings depict Roman numerals 1 to 12, with each number incorporated into scenes. Coloured plates in order: 1. Le Phenix / The Phoenix. 2. Les deux Sexes / The Two Sexes. 3.
