GORSE, Andre.
Les Pyrenees Monumentales et Pittoresques.
Rare in colour. Pierre Gorse (1816-1875) was originally from Gironde. He settled in Pau and captured many panoramas of the Hautes-Pyrénées and Haute-Garonne region. He took advantage of the craze for picturesque lithography from the beginning of the 1850s.
