Le Chariot de terre cuite. (The Clay Chariot)
Illustrated with 20 insets in color by Léon Carré protected by captioned scrolls and ornaments executed from decorative paintings of Buddhist art found in the temples of ancient India. This play, staged in 1895 by Lugné-Poe with sets and a poster by Toulouse-Lautrec, is here illustrated by Léon Carré, a close friend of Barrucand in Algiers.

"The Clay Chariot," after the Indian play attributed to King Soudraka (1895). A lovely edition illustrated by Leon Carre with 20 coloured pochoir plates featuring numerous gold and colour highlights.
