Ferdinando Primo e Maria Anna Carolina nel Litorale in Settembre 1844.
The book is illustrated with 18 magnificent lithographed plates, sumptuously enhanced with gouache at the time, captioned in Italian and German. They were lithographed by Linassi & Comp. after various artists including Cesare Dell' Acqua, Gius. Rieger, A. Tischbein, Pietro Pupilli, Fran. Bellemo, Marco Moro, Marco Comirato, Giov. Pividor, Melch. Fontana and Aless. Margutti for the 2 plans. First title page in gilt letters in an elegant silver frame, with blind stamp. The second title page is illustrated with blind-stamped portraits in medallions: that of the emperor and his wife in gilt, those of Ernesto Il Ferreo, Giuseppe II, Leopoldo I, Leopoldo II, Carlo VI and Francesco I in white on silver backgrounds, the medallion of the coat of arms in silver on a white background.

Folio, lithographed frontispiece with an oval image of the Austrian Imperial visitors to Trieste. Sixteen hand-coloured lithographs heightened with gum arabic, each within a decorative border, two maps. Bound in red velvet over boards, cast brass decorations in corners, crown, and monograms, 'F' & 'M'mounted on upper board, coat of arms to lower board.
