Erinnerung an Sylt.
A fascinating glimpse back at a long forgotten way of life. Sylt is a German island in the Frisian archipelago in the North Sea. It’s known for its long beaches, resorts and the Wadden Sea mudflats on the eastern side.

[Memories of Sylt] Oblong 8vo; contemporary smooth red calf with extensive gilt decoration and blind stamped boards, silk moire endpapers, housed in an old marbled paper box with small MS label on front, part spine missing. 12 (of 13?) hand-coloured lithographed plates mounted on green paper with German notes in faint pencil on verso. Sylt is the northernmost island in Germany. Coloured plates in order: 1. Sylt. 2. Mountain views on Sylt. 3. The Duck decoy on Sylt. 4. The beach at Westerland on Sylt. 5. Beach cliffs on Sylt. 6.
