2 Volumes in 1. 8vo. (7.5" x 6"). First volume; 10 original hand-coloured plates - one plate with small damage to the outer blank margin. Original hand colour decorated card cover. pp 32. Second volume; 13 coloured plates, slight marginal marks. Original hand colour decorated card cover, creased and marked. Both books are bound together in modern cloth with title to spine in gilt. A humorous tale embellished with beautifully coloured engravings. S signature of "Cecil R. Bates, 3rd Feb 1888." to a prelim in the first volume. Coloured plates in order: Volume 1.
