Carnets de voyages / manuscript travel albums.
A number of the original drawings and sketches were done by Mary Skinner's husband Samuel and son Bruce. Throughout are copies of poems by friends of Skinner and some original signed work by Julia Pardoe, Jane Porter, Sir John Malcolm, and Agnes Strickland. There are some other pieces in Tamil Arabic and Hieroglyphic by the Egyptologist Sir John Gardner Wilkinson, and a 3-page description of the diamond mines of Golconda with a watercolour; circa the 1820s-1850s.
