Folio (36 x 22.5 cm). Illuminated musical manuscript in Church Slavonic, 168 ff. including preliminary and final blank ff., 12 lines, title in red with lavish floral decoration in gold and colours, the first page of text with 10-line crowned decorated initial and fore-edge marginal border including a bird, 17 sectional titles with large decorated initials and head-pieces, other initials in red, headings in red and black, text in black, with music above in black and red; small repair to lower corner of title, few other corners and margins little creased or frayed, some light spotting or soiling. Contemporary Russian red morocco over wooden boards, covers elaborately decorated in blind and gilt, spine gilt in six compartments, patterned brass clasps, green endpapers, magenta silk place-marker detached but present edges gilt and gauffered.
