Decorated Latin book of hours manuscript on parchment. Eighty sheets, 16 lines per sheet. Gothic writing in brown ink, red and blue initials, many heightened with gold. One full-page miniature.

In Latin. (Dimensions 135 x 100 mm). Black blind-tooled morocco binding, slightly rubbed and worn, all edges gilt. Contents good. Marbled endpapers. Many pages comprise text only, with letters highlighted in blue and red, with some further heightened in gold. Some passages are in red ink. A further few pages are decorated with delightful floral representations on the borders. [Some representative examples have been photographed] Coloured plates in order: 1. Lady preying devoutly in a private chapel. Elaborate floral border decoration surrounding the plate. Coloured initial letters etc.
