An attractive album with original watercolours showing scenes, processions, gods, and a range of traditional costumes. Some leaves are particularly fine, painted with great details, and vivid colours, and heightened with gold.

4to, 28 watercolours, some heightened in gold leaf, rebound with red calf, with gilt borders, and blind tooling, spine with raised bands on blind comprising of six compartments, lettered in the second compartment and a repeated gilt motif in all others. Worn around extremities, marbled endpapers. Dimensions: each leaf is 200 x 160 mm. (8 x 6.25 inches). A rare item! Watercolours are titled in the manuscript. Coloured plates in order: 1.
