A delightful work dedicated to the viceroy of Lombardy-Veneto Ranieri. Lose copied from life and reproduced in aquatint some Lombard and Swiss landscapes. In this collection the tables are dedicated to territories close to the Spluga pass.

Folio, text, engraved title, 16 hand-coloured aquatint plates by and after Lose, printed in grisaille, original green marbled paper boards, housed in a modern green cloth box with leather gilt lettered title label to spine.
