The Land and the Book.
"An attractive and valuable addition to a department of Biblical literature" (Allibone 2406), by an American missionary who spent thirty years in Syria and Palestine. A book of unique appeal. It fulfilled in a high degree its purpose of elucidating the Bible and greatly increased knowledge of Palestine in English-speaking countries.
