The spectacular creatures portrayed on the covers are a part of the living world all around us, and they emphasise the need for our protection and conservation. This is the first such collection authorised by the WWF, to the ultimate goal of conservation-minded people all over the world - the preservation of nature for all. Each cover bears an important wildlife stamp(s) and an original engraving that portrays the subject of the stamp(s). Each cover is postmarked with the first day cancellation in the issuing country. Some of the animals and wildlife covered are: Cheetahs Hummingbirds Turtles Frogs Otters Lobsters Rodents Fish Water Birds Puffins Bats Crabs Leopards Monkeys Lions Deer Birds of prey Crocodiles Rabbits Badgers Elephants Polar Bears Walrus Rhinoceros Owls
