[The Doldenhorn and White Woman.] FIRST EDITION. 8vo, pp. [4], 82; 11 coloured lithograph plates (1 double-p.), two wood-engraved plates, a folding hand-coloured lithograph map, and a further two wood-engravings in the text; original wood-engraved front wrapper bound in, in full red limp morocco, title in gilt to spine, single gilt in rule to boards, very minor rubbing, but just about fine. This book was also issued in German the same year. Coloured plates in order: 1. Doldenhorn - Group from Kandersteg. 2. Panorama from the Little Doldenhorn towards the East. 3. The "Leiterfluhli". 4.
