Sketches of Native Life in India with Views in Rajpootana, Simlah etc. etc.
First edition of this rare colour plate book on mid-nineteenth-century life in India which has gone woefully under acknowledged in the literature. A gem of the period and genre, this copy is fully-coloured unlike most.
