26 hand-coloured; each panel is 6.75" x 4.75" or 17 x 12 cm. The still crepe paper covers have a typical willow tree illustration; without a title, this work does not hint at the broad trenchant caricatures. The exterior has some light soiling; the illustrations are incredibly bright and vivid. New slipcase to preserve contents. *Rebinding and restoration work on this book was carried out by Ron Norman of Hartlepool. (Ronnorm@aol.com)* Coloured plates in order: 1. Looking to a distance. 2. O my how hot. 3. Anxious to see. 4. Deeply interested. 5. Tears of thankfulness. 6. Followed by a dog. 7. Suddenly awakened. 8. Looking up at a painting. 9. A Coward. 10. O, how sour. 11.
