2 Vols. Troisieme edition. Folio (19x15 inches) quarter contemporary blue morocco over marbled boards. Marbled endpapers. Title in gilt to spine with raised bands and spine in six compartments lettered on two and four. Small gilt motif in other compartments. The top and tail of the spine are a little rubbed and worn. Half-title 2 identical titles, leaf for the Seconde Partie and 24 numbered but untitled, hand-coloured lithographic plates of gardens. Plus, in an identically bound slipcase, a truly monumental garden plate of BOIS DE BOULOGNE in Paris hand-coloured lithograph linen backed in 16 parts measuring 55" x70".
