8vo. (210 x 290mm) Beautiful red half-leather cover with glorious marbled boards. Title and a half-title. 20 attractive hand-coloured aquatint views, each with a page of text, in excellent condition without dustwrapper. Boards and spine have been expertly repaired. Title label in gilt to spine. A 'proud' title motif on the front cover. Contents slightly browned at edges, not imprinting onto the engravings. With "W [illiam] S. Adams" bookplate. SCARCE.
